Message: I and my family have lived in Leeds for $ generations that i know of. My grandparents lived in one of the two houses known as Bottings Platt. As far as i remember the houses were known as tied cottages. my grandad and the man next door both worked on farmland . The farm and houses were owned by Mr Boucher. He lived in the house that is near the top of the hill. The driveway ran from near the entrance to the playing field. I believe this was around 1964. Replies to this post No replies yet |
