We are very proud of our school, which is an integral part of the village and local community. It was built over 100 years ago and is located in a beautiful part of rural Kent, close to Leeds Castle. We are a coeducational day primary school with approximately 76 children, aged from 4 to 11 years.

The school contributes to the sense of history in the area, and has provided a first-rate education for many generations of local people. As an Anglican foundation we have close links with St Nicholas’ Church, and we strive constantly to promote the all-round development of each child in our care.

The staff and governors aim to provide a caring, happy and stimulating atmosphere that fosters self-confidence and a love of learning. We are committed to the partnership in education between home and school, and prospective parents are welcome to visit the school and meet staff and children.

CAFÉ IN THE PORCH - Parents and carers of schoolchildren at Leeds Primary School often arrive early to collect pupils. There is now a haven from the winter cold and the summer heat during their wait. Just across from the school, a hearty welcome awaits them in the porch of Saint Nicholas’ Church. Café in the Porch offers free tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks and is run by the Parochial Church Council.  It is open at 2.30pm every Thursday during school terms and stays open until about 4pm.
