Heritage
Leeds village has a significant amount of heritage, not just the Leeds Castle but also the Leeds Priory ruins which are a Scheduled Ancient Monument alongside sites like Stonehenge meeting certain criteria. Other sites include the Ledian Farm grade II listed farmhouse among the many other listed buildings in Leeds village. The name Ledian is believed to be the man who built the original fort that went on to become Leeds Castle, there is little direct evidence for this however, and no archeological surveys have revealed more than medieval farm structures at Ledian Farm itself, so its likely it was named after the individual.

There are two conservation areas that cover the village along with the Historic Monument Site, the former includes protection for trees that must be observed:
