LADS - Leeds Amateur Dramatic Society

Leeds Amateur Dramatic Society has been performing to the village for over 25 years. There are two annual events:

 

Panto – This takes place over a weekend in February in the Leeds Memorial Hall.  It is the coming together of many local talents – actors, singers, dancers, scene painters, scenery builders, musicians, costumiers, sound and light technicians.  We perform a traditional pantomime on stage with full sets.  Auditions start in September with rehearsals every Sunday afternoon from October.

Plays & Picnics – This takes place during a weekend in July in one of the Village’s beautiful gardens.  We perform two plays, starting about 7pm with an interval for picnics, and finishing as the sun sets.  Players are invited to perform by the Director.
